Are you living life ‘waiting’ to feel good?…

Most people spend their live their whole life experience in a state of ‘waiting’…

Whether it’s waiting to get what they ‘think’ is a perfect job, what they ‘think’ is a perfect relationship, or whether it’s to become a millionaire, a success, or to achieve some specific goal they ‘think’ will bring them happiness…

It is a constant projection into the future, a constant projection away from where they are…

People constantly ‘think’ they need ‘things’ in order to be fulfilled and at peace inside themselves and the world…

This could not be further from the truth… this is the delusion…

If you are always waiting to feel at peace and fulfilled when you get what you think you want, then that may motivate you to make millions of pounds and to achieve your goal, but even if you do, you will still feel a deep dissatisfaction and disconnection at the core of your being. You will still feel a desire for more, or you will desire something else…

The secret is to go beyond desire to a state of being that is totally at peace with the only thing that exists: the present moment, the here and now, the eternal ever present moment…

If our sense of self is seeking success and fulfilment in some future moment then we will never be at peace…

Remember the only time you can find and be in alignment with who you really are is right now in this moment…

And remember to find alignment with who we really are, is to live in what Jesus beautifully described as, the ‘kingdom of heaven’…

The kingdom of heaven is not a ‘location’ in time and space; it is a feeling, a state of being, a state of mind that is in total harmony with life and he only thing that exists: the present moment…

Then you will feel and live in a state of joy, gratitude and satisfaction that is far beyond your wildest dreams, and I mean far beyond your wildest dreams!!!

Realise deeply that you are only ever in the space that you are in, you are only ever here and now, in this moment…

If you are constantly trying to escape this moment, then you will never be at peace…

 

So, are you living your life in a state of waiting? Are you always trying to escape this moment?

If you are, snap out of it…

 

Start to welcome everything that arises…

Completely let go…

Accept everything…

Surrender completely to the here and now…

Resist nothing…

Accept everything- don’t beat yourself up mentally…

Today, live with the intention of accepting everything that happens to you…

Say to yourself;

‘‘Today, I am going to practice acceptance. I am going to accept everything that arises as if I had chosen it for myself. I am not going to hold onto anything mentally, I am going to let everyone be as they are, and everything be as it is…’’

Then as you go about your day watch your internal reaction to the things that happen to you…

Watch and become aware of how things make you feel, but don’t let them suck you in…

Just practice accepting everything that arises…

Treat it as a test to accept and let go of it mentally…

If someone gets in your way or someone pulls in front of you don’t get mad, don’t let your thoughts get out of control with anger and frustration…

Notice the way it makes you feel but don’t let your thoughts take you over…

Just let go of it internally, refuse to dwell on and energise it…

Just accept that that’s the way it is, no matter how much you react to it now…

Refuse to be held hostage to your thoughts…

If negative thoughts arise say to yourself;

‘‘Thinking like this really isn’t making me feel very good and it’s not serving me, so I’m not going to focus on this. I am going to focus on something that makes me feel good inside’’

Then do anything you can to find thoughts that make you feel good, thoughts that really bring you inner relief and freedom inside, like;

‘‘I know that by accepting and not reacting to this moment, my life will speed right up. I know that I have so much to be grateful for. I’m so grateful for my family. I’m so grateful for all the wonderful opportunities opening up in my life. And I know that ultimately everything will be okay. I really appreciate how much I’ve learnt about myself and life. I’ve grown and learnt so much and that makes me feel so good inside. I’m starting to feel really good about life. I’m starting to feel really good about myself. I know that things are working out for the best and I know that everything will be okay. I don’t need to figure everything out right now. I don’t need to evaluate and analyse. I just need to let go and relax and let this moment be as it is. And I know that by doing that, by accepting and surrendering to the flow of life, my life will speed right up.’’

Can you see how directing the flow of your thoughts can make you feel much better about a situation…?

Can you see how much inner freedom and inner peace it brings you to find the good in a situation…?

As opposed to banging on and on about the negative…?

And can you see that in reality your opinion makes no difference at all…?

The situation already is as it is, no matter how much you react and resist it, nothing will change…

You really won’t get anywhere if you resist and force life…

You have to flow with life…

You have to accept and surrender to this moment as it is…

And by doing so, you are starting to shift your perception to one of freedom instead of frustration, and by doing that, you are starting to create a life of freedom instead of one of frustration…

Remember life (you) can only be found in this moment, if you live dominated by the illusion of time you will live a life of inner frustration, so by becoming one with this moment, by becoming one with the here and now, you become one with who you really are…

And by feeling and finding alignment with who you really are, is what brings you the inner freedom, the inner peace, and the utter joy of experiencing that we are all searching and craving for…

Be, here, now…

If you think about the PAST, you think about it RIGHT NOW…

If you think about the FUTURE, you think about it RIGHT NOW…

There is no time, it is an illusion…

There is only this moment, right now…

 

In other words;

You are only ever in the space that you are in right now…

You have never been outside of this moment…

Your thoughts may dart around here, there and everywhere…

But you are always here and now…

 

You do not need to ‘sort’ or ‘arrange’ your life in order to find the inner peace and inner freedom that we are all craving for…

You just need to accept, surrender and become one with this moment…

It is the only moment that you can be in touch with who you really are…

 

Become alert, become present…

Listen to the stillness and the silence around you…

Listen to the stillness and the silence in between your thoughts…

And feel the peace that arises as you transcend attachment to your thoughts as you become one with the awareness that is beyond thought…

 

Remember;

You are not your thoughts; you are the awareness in which all thought arises, passes, and is perceived…

You are not your body, your name, or your current set of circumstances…

You are the awareness that is at the heart and centre of everything in existence…

The life-intelligence…

The one-mind…

God…

Or whatever you want to call it…

 

Surrender, now…

You do not need to work anything out…

Just let go…

Be here now…

Just a post to let you know that I will be writing and travelling for the next couple of months…

‘‘I am you. You are me. We are not fragmented from each other- we are each other.’’

My intention has always been to keep my blog purely about my writing and helping people to understand and find harmony with who they really are.

However, I would just like to let you know that I will be away for the next couple of months expanding my writing and travelling around Cambodia, Vietnam, Thailand and Laos.

I will still be writing and blogging, but they may be a little less frequent, and I may take a little longer to get back to any questions or comments you may have. I will certainly do my best, and I hope to be able to write at least a couple of blog posts every week…

I am sure my writing will go through the roof being in a totally different environment, culture, and with such wonderfully interesting people. So I look forward to updating you with anything interesting, or with any insights I have…

Dive into the silence in between your thoughts…

This a great practice to transcend ‘thinking’ into awareness- so to enter the here and now, and to become one with this moment….

What is great about this practice is that it helps you to disidentify from your thoughts, and what I mean by this is; it helps you to disidentify your ‘sense of who you are’ out of thought and into awareness- the awareness that is at the heart and centre of everything in existence, the awareness that we all are and everything is…

Firstly get yourself comfy in a position that allows all of your body to be relaxed and effortless (I suggest laying flat on the floor with your arms by your sides so that all your body is in line, and so there is no holding on in any areas), now take a few deep breaths, and close your eyes…

Now relax for a few moments, become aware of all the sounds around you, and give yourself permission to relax and let go…

Now start to become aware of the little gaps of silence in between your thoughts…

Little gaps of ‘no-thought’ in between your thoughts…

You don’t need to try to ‘STOP’ thinking, you actually don’t need to do anything; just become deeply aware of the little gaps of silence and stillness in between your thoughts, and stay with it…

Thoughts will still arise, but just let them float by without giving them any of your energy; just let them arise and let them pass, without you having any attachment to them…

Keep bringing yourself back to those little gaps of silence in between your thoughts, thoughts will arise but just let them pass, and bring yourself back to the silence, practice dwelling there for as long as you can, and try to keep your attention rooted in the silence…

These gaps of silence will continue to lengthen and deepen the more you practice this, so just enjoy detaching yourself from your thoughts and rooting yourself in the awareness of this moment…

I am explaining here as a practice, and it would be a great practice to for 15 minutes twice a day. However there is no substitute for every day present moment awareness, and once you are fully in touch with who you really are, this will become a natural way of life…

So as you go about your day keep bringing yourself back to the present moment, keep going beyond thought and entering the silence, be here now…

Remember that you are only ever in the space that you are in, you are only ever here and now, in this moment…

Nothing outside of this moment exists…

Every thought that you think sends out a vibration from the base of your heart…

Each and every thought that you think sends out an electromagnetic wave (vibration) from the base of your heart…

Think about that deeply for a moment, can you feel how powerful that is?

Each and every though that you think is literally shaping the world around you…

So as you think, you are drawing to yourself more thoughts, more information, more people, and more situations and experiences that match the vibration of your most dominant thoughts…

Let’s put this into a general example;

If your thoughts are mainly angry and frustrated on a day to day basis then you will attract to yourself more people, more situations and more experiences that match the vibration of anger and frustration. However; if your thoughts are mainly happy and peaceful on a day to day basis then you will attract to yourself more people, more situations and more experiences that match the vibration of happiness and peace.

As we think we are literally drawing and pulling towards us everything that matches the vibrational essence of our thoughts…

Most people tend to think it works the other way around. They think their thoughts are ‘observations’ of what is happening to them, they think they are ‘facts’, or ‘results’, whereas in reality; it is their thoughts that are creating and moulding the path in front of them, their thoughts are the cause, not an effect…

So it is the flow of our thoughts that determines the way everything manifests into our experience…

Therefore if you want to change the way anything is manifesting into your experience the first thing you have to do is to train yourself to think and feel differently about it…

If you continue to think the same old thoughts and tell yourself the same old stories, then nothing will ever change…

So your only job is to find the good in everything. And I mean everything!

Just search for the good, search for a positive, search for things to be grateful for, and search for things to appreciate…

If you can do this, you will create a massive shift in your vibration…

Remember YOU and only YOU are the creator of YOU!

Just think and focus only on what makes you feel good!
